This is an editorial shortlist, not an objective ranking or endorsement. It mixes official English coach development, experienced coaching platforms, tactical-analysis channels and player-technique demonstrations so a grassroots coach can choose the right kind of video for the question at hand.
Channel output and ownership can change. Check the channel, publication date and any linked source before relying on a rules, safeguarding, medical or qualification claim.
Channels 1–5: coach development and session design

Turn one video into your own coaching plan
- Write the football problem or decision the video is trying to improve.
- Identify what is evidence, what is opinion and what belongs to a different age or level.
- Choose one idea that fits your players, available space, equipment and time.
- Simplify the setup and keep one low-attendance and high-attendance adaptation ready.
- Add the activity to a session with a clear outcome and enough game time.
- After delivery, record what players did and what you would change rather than rating the video.
Link, adapt and learn—do not republish
A public video can inspire your coaching without becoming your content. Link to the original channel, write your own football notes and diagrams, and respect the creator’s copyright and usage terms. Do not upload copied video, screenshots, thumbnails, session PDFs or branding into a public resource without permission.
YouTube is not the place to resolve safeguarding, medical, welfare or emergency questions. Use current FA, club, County FA and professional routes for those matters.
