Before you download

Do I need a Grassroots Coach account?

Yes. Sign in with the same account you use on the website. If you’re new, create your coach account and team on the website first, then sign in to the app.

Can I use the app instead of the website?

Use the app to run training and manage matchday. Use the website for detailed planning and account settings. Both use the same team information.

Can parents and carers use the app?

Yes, when invited by their coach. Player & Family lets them see events for their child, reply to availability requests and view match details you choose to share. They do not have access to your coaching tools.

What if there’s no signal at the pitch?

Open your session or match while you have a connection. Information already saved on your phone can be viewed offline. Check whether changes are saved or waiting to send, and reconnect to retry any that need attention.
